Summary
The job of Director of Customer Marketing leads the customer segmentation and customer growth strategy for the Dental business unit. In this role, the Director of Customer Marketing will lead the prioritization of marketing efforts for the BU and align with field teams and shared services teams for execution. The Director will also design and execute the overall promotional strategy and customer loyalty strategy for the BU.
Responsibilities
* Define the customer segmentation strategy for the BU * Define the value proposition, target audiences, and overall customer priorities for the BU * Initiate and sponsor qualitative and quantitative customer insight work * Develop customer personas to support creative, content, and media strategies * Develop and prioritize an integrated BU-level marketing plan and campaign architecture for prioritized customer segments * Develop marketing strategy for Middle Market and DSO customers * Define and execute overall promotions strategy * Develop and operate loyalty programs * Build customer (and segment) acquisition, growth and retention plans * Prioritize marketing communication to the field * Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
**Required:** * 7+ years in marketing planning, loyalty marketing, and customer insights * Exposure to multiple marketing functions, e.g., media, planning, content creation * Demonstrated track record of building new organizational capabilities * Excellent oral and written communications skills * Ability to influence indirectly, up and down the organization * Self-starter **Preferred:** * Experience working in B2B with a field based sales organization
