* Analyze business requirements and product specifications for software application development projects * Design, develop, test, and implement custom database / web-based applications for our ERP systems * Author technical and end-user guide documentation for applications as needed * Work in a distributed, team-oriented development and support environment * Interact with end users and project managers to communicate status and resolve issues * Acquire extensive knowledge of the Deltek suite of applications, particularly Costpoint v7. * Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings to non-technical * Develop technical solutions to complex problems. * Guide the successful completion of complex projects and function in a project leadership role. * Responsible for estimating and documenting projects plans describing level of effort and skill sets required. * Responsible for following project management and lifecycle development processes, procedures, and standards to meet assurance goals. * Responsible for generating unit tests, test data and test scripts

* BS degree and 5+ years of related professional experience. * Strong verbal & written communication skills * Demonstrated experience across all phases of lifecycle development * Demonstrated success in key role on Java development efforts **Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience** * Good technical understanding of Microsoft Windows Sharepoint Services, (WSS) platform * Familiarity with Financial concepts and Project based software * Experience with Actian/Pervasive ETL software * Familiar with Microsoft Visual Studio * Prior Deltek applications experience including Costpoint Extensions
