• Analyze business requirements and product specifications for software application development projects

• Design, develop, test, and implement custom database / web-based applications for our ERP systems

• Author technical and end-user guide documentation for applications as needed

• Work in a distributed, team-oriented development and support environment

• Interact with end users and project managers to communicate status and resolve issues

• Acquire extensive knowledge of the Deltek suite of applications, particularly Costpoint v7.

• Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings to non-technical

• Develop technical solutions to complex problems.

• Guide the successful completion of complex projects and function in a project leadership role.

• Responsible for estimating and documenting projects plans describing level of effort and skill sets required.

• Responsible for following project management and lifecycle development processes, procedures, and standards to meet assurance goals.

• Responsible for generating unit tests, test data and test scripts

• BS degree and 5+ years of related professional experience.

• Strong verbal & written communication skills

• Demonstrated experience across all phases of lifecycle development

• Demonstrated success in key role on Java development efforts

Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Good technical understanding of Microsoft Windows Sharepoint Services, (WSS) platform

• Familiarity with Financial concepts and Project based software

• Experience with Actian/Pervasive ETL software

• Familiar with Microsoft Visual Studio

• Prior Deltek applications experience including Costpoint Extensions
