Quality Assurance Engineer

- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback - Serve as a champion for quality throughout the software development process - Create and execute functional and regression test scenarios - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand system requirements, use cases, and performance considerations - Review and help refine acceptance criteria before development begins - Log and track defects in a clear and concise manner - Identify and categorize internal and external customer product feedback into defects, issues, or enhancements - Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely follow-up and follow-through

**What we are looking for:** - Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience creating test scenarios, managing defects, and executing exploratory and automated testing of software-based applications - Solid Knowledge in an Agile/Scrum and Software Development Life cycle SDLC and STLC - Expert knowledge of software QA methodologies, automated testing tools, and processes - Experience with testing tools such as Git, Postman, REST clients, Xcode, Android Studio, Charles, etc - Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting - Experience working in cloud **Bonus Points:** - Mortgage or Finance Industry experience - You find great joy in writing tests - Deployed environments on AWS - Experience building and maintaining versioned API's - BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
