Responsible for influencing the technology posture of video conferencing for Parkland, which includes in-room and desktop conferencing technology.

**Education:** * Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or Business Administration with an emphasis on Management Information Systems, or a related field. **Experience:** * Must have five years of experience working with H323 / Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) / Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP) / Skinny Client Control Protocol (SCCP) protocol configurations. * Must have three years of experience designing, installing, configuring complex video systems, specifically Cisco-Tandberg video systems, Cisco CTS TelePresence solutions with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CallManager), Video Communications Server (VCS) Control, VCS Expressway, TelePresence Management System (TMS) and Cisco Webex Meeting Server. * Must have three years of experience working with configuring and troubleshooting MCUs, Videoconferencing gateways, Cisco/Tandberg HD Video Endpoints, Polycom HD Video Endpoint, Cisco/Tandberg Movi, and Cisco CTS TelePresence solutions. * Must have three years of experience working with IP networking, routing, switching, and Cisco IOS command line. * Must have two years of experience with Cisco IP Telephones, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Instant Message and Presence applications. * Must have two years of experience with Cisco (Tandberg/Codian) MSE8000/8710/8510 MCU systems applications. * Prefer experience with Unity Connection & Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE) applications. * Prefer one year of experience with Cisco Show and Share, Cisco TelePresence Recording Studio, Cisco TelePresence Conductor applications. **Equivalent Education and/or Experience:** * May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements. **Certification/Registration/Licensure:** * Prefer the following certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Network Professional Voice (CCNP Voice), Cisco Certified Network Associate Video (CCNA Video). **Skills or Special Abilities:** * Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of HD videoconferencing solutions. * Must be well versed in Cisco, Polycom, Microsoft and other types of unified communications technologies. * Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Must be able to demonstrate excellent technical documentation skills. * Must have excellent customer service skills. * Must have excellent knowledge of Windows 7 and 8 operating systems. * Must be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of compression algorithms G729, G711, G722, etc. * Must have a collaborative work style that includes and values the views of others in recommendations and decisions. * Collaborates with the network team to ensure solutions with solid foundations. * Must be able to train staff on the supportive collaboration tools. * Must be able to operate effectively in a matrix structure. * Must be able to manage organizational complexity, changing priorities and conditions.
