Digital music media leader is looking for a Accounting / Finance Manager in NYC. Very hip, trendy, creative environment. Fast growing, progressive thinking company. The Accounting / Finance Manager job in NYC will play a key leadership role covering accounting, financial operations, and financial planning & analysis. * Supervision of financial books and records; maintain general ledger, approve journal entries, ensure monthly financial statements are prepared in accordance with GAAP. * Management of key external relationships including time and expense, corporate credit cards, and insurance. * Responsible for ERP and related systems integrations. * Supervise the accountants and analysts responsible for banking relationships, procure to pay and order to cash processes. * Assist in forecasting and budgeting process. * Develop and track key reporting metrics, including the preparation of departmental reporting, variance analysis, pacing and tracking of project costs. * Collaborate with third-party auditors to efficiently complete all audits. * Maintain documentation of accounting policies, procedures and internal controls. * Special projects and ad hoc analysis as required by management.

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related. * 8+ years of experience * Experience in Media, Tech, Music, SASS preferred * CPA required. * Strong leadership skills, with passion for coaching * Demonstrates problem solving, decision making, and continuous process improvement skills. * Excellent communication and relationship building skills – the ability to work with teams internally and externally.
