Great Accounting Manager job located in Rockland County, NY is looking for a candidate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing company. This job will be responsible for understanding and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. The Accounting Manager supervises staff accountants and is responsible for managing the team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner. To qualify for this job, must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university/college. Company offers great benefits and compensation for experience. * Gather, compile, organize, and document relevant financial information in appropriate databases. * Provide analyses for monthly financial performance, cash flows, capital expenditures, and investments. * Prepare financial reports for management/Board of Directors. * Supervise General Accounting team * Review daily general ledger activity

* Minimum 7 years of accounting experience (prefers manufacturing company) * Minimum 3 years in supervisory/management role in corporate environment * CPA or MBA preferred
