IT Director of Marketing

Parallel Partners specializes in the recruitment of information technology personnel for direct hire positions in the financial services and trading industries.

Summary: Seeking a dynamic Director of Marketing to help refine company go-to-market messaging, drive leads and market awareness and participate in rapid growth. Company works with the leaders in information security, compliance and risk management to deliver “information anywhere, security everywhere.” The Director of Marketing will be a tech-savvy team player with start-up experience who is strategic and tactical, able to roll up his or her sleeves and drive leads as well as partner with the founders on strategy and interact with key customers on messaging. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities: * Refine the company go-to-market brand story, based on direction from partners and feedback from customers. * Acquire and retain customers through online and offline lead generation. * Programs: Content/email marketing, Webinars, SEO/SEM, events (partnering with Field Marketing). * Create and commission thought leadership content – white papers, etc. * Build and nurture analyst relationship program. * Drive external awareness through PR and social media. * Develop customer case study and reference program. * Create product messaging and collateral. * Maintain Website copy.

Qualifications: * 7 years+ relevant marketing/product marketing experience. * High tech, security, data and/or networking industry experience preferred. * Demonstrated track record bringing a startup/growth business to market rapidly. * Strong communicator and writer. * Digital marketing and lead generation background. * Enthusiastic, energetic self-starter who can act both strategically and tactically.
