User Experience Designer

• Provide consultation and collaborative design regarding usability and ease-of-use insight regarding products or services
• Develop and implement usability test plans
• Be an advocate for the end user, bringing their goals and perspectives into the decision making process

• Formal cognitive sci/human factors background
• Strong ergonomics and physical interaction skills and instincts
• Strong analytic, synthesis and communication skills when dealing with qualitative and quantitative information and data
• Proven ability to plan and execute experimental design for testing and evaluation of hardware products
• Minimum 3 years of comparable experience (hardware HF/ergo/testing)
• Ability to learn and adapt
• Must be able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
• BS, or BA degree in Cognitive Science or related area of study.
