Financial Planning and Analysis Intern

As a Finance FP&A Intern, you will be a part of the team that handles financial planning and analysis for Pandora. In other words, you will have an opportunity to learn what it takes to run a major technology company from a financial perspective. You will also have an opportunity to work on finance analytics projects that will inform and drive key business decisions.

* Build detailed financial models to track and analyze operating expenses and their impact on the departmental budget * Assist with ad-hoc projects for finance management analyzing data to drive insightful analytics, and communicate recommendations via presentations * Support the monthly and quarterly close and re-forecasting process through detailed and accurate expense forecasts by department

* Currently enrolled student majoring in Finance, Business, Economics, and/or Accounting with strong academic credentials and graduating in December 2017 or May 2018 * Solid understanding of financial concepts (accruals, forecasting, NPV, etc.) * Strong attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint; advanced Excel skills a plus * Demonstrated comfort working with numbers and analyzing financial data, either through prior internship experience or school projects; prior internship experience a plus * Ability to learn new technologies quickly
