Summary
Reporting to the Senior Design Manager, the Junior Graphic Designer is responsible for the conceptualization and design of graphic applications from concept through completion. Candidate works closely with other internal graphic designers, photographers, printers, packaging engineers and product managers. Candidate brings projects to fruition with the guidance of the department Director and senior team members.
Responsibilities
* Fulfills the needs of departments within the organization by providing graphics for packaging, sales collateral, point of purchase, signage and digital applications * Develops original designs while maintaining brand identity * Work cross-functionally with creative, product management, sales and brand communications
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field * 2+ years of graphic design experience is required * Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office * Strong layout and typography skills * Understanding of design-related processes such as photography, retouching, printing and production * Highly organized, self-motivated, able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines * Possesses excellent presentation and communication skills
