The Supply Chain Architect is a technology leader with a strong connection to the global business units. This individual possesses a compliment of Owens Corning business process knowledge and deep technical expertise. This is leveraged to design solutions that use both new and existing technologies to fulfill business requirements in accordance with our Owens Corning enterprise architecture and IT standards. This individual has a natural curiosity for technology. He/She utilizes internal and external resources to further develop their technical acumen as well as others across the organization on enterprise-wide systems along with supporting technology for the Supply Chain enterprise areas.

**Technology leadership:** * Design and drive the implementation of seamless and efficient planning business transactions using the right technology at the right time and at the right cost. * Ensure the support and sustainability of all technology solutions is engineered in the design stage. * Identify and eliminate technical and implementation risks associated with a technology solution. * Consult with project planners to develop statements of work for proposed solutions including estimates that address assumptions, resources, integration points and risks for the supply chain enterprise areas including Warehouse, Transportation, and Supply Chain Planning. **IT Strategy:** * Collaborate with peers and IT leaders on the development and ongoing sustainment of Owens Corning IT Roadmap. * Ensure all technology being delivered is contemporary and aligned with the 1-3 year IT Roadmap. * Maintain the functional specification architecture documentation including the OC Enterprise Reference Model for all Supply Chain process areas (including supply planning, demand planning, network optimization, global available to promise, warehouse management, and transportation). **Business result/partnership:** * Establish oneself as the Supply Chain technology expert for the IT organization and business. * Work with business leaders, process leaders, and project teams to proactively identify technology solutions and integration opportunities to solve business needs and drive differential value to Owens Corning. * Facilitate project teams to address the feasibility of technology solutions. **Leadership:** * Develop relevant technology insight through participation in peer networks, formal training and guided experiences. Leverage such learning’s within IT and the business. * Lead and leverage external resources as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Finance, or Business Administration * Competent in project management theory, knowledge, skills, tools and techniques * Minimum of 5 years of experience within Information Technology industry * Minimum of 5 years experience with SAP technology (MM/PP within ECC 6.0 and SCM) **Experience:** * Process knowledge in Warehouse Management (Lean WM and Pallet Tracking) * Process knowledge in Supply Planning, Demand Planning and S&OP * Prior SAP deployment experience in all phases of ASAP methodolog **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:** * Demonstrated creativity through the application of innovation solutions that solve complex business needs. * Ability to communicate and translate business requirements and technical solutions cross-functionally. * Ability to build relationships and provide impact within a team environment. * Proven leadership approach that inspires others to meet critical business outcomes.
