About Outpost Games
At Outpost Games, we’re building a multiplayer survival game, called SOS, that’s designed from the ground up to be as thrilling to watch as it is to play. Powering SOS is a platform we’re building that turns every player into a performer and gives them a live, interactive audience. On this platform, everyone experiences the thrill of being in the spotlight, and every audience member has the ability to participate in play.
Outpost Games is looking for a Marketing Manager to spearhead the creation and execution of clever, innovative campaigns to build awareness and drive user action. As the evangelist of the SOS brand external to the game, you’ll lead creative consultants across several disciplines and media formats to deliver memorable experiences that meet our business objectives. From ideation through execution, you’ll not only need to drive the vision, but also the schedule. A successful candidate will possess: in-depth experience with both print and digital design; excellent verbal and written communication skills; solid business and project management acumen; and strong collaboration skills in a cross-functional organization.
* Drive and direct creative strategy and deliverables for SOS’ multi-channel awareness campaigns. * Maximize ROI through use of compelling original content and innovative reach techniques. * Build great relationships with external and internal resources, communicating needs while driving schedule and budget. * Tell relatable stories about SOS and develop original angles that showcase the value of our product. * Effectively track and report on the ROI of all campaigns to maximize returns, improve performance, and inform company decisions. * Share best practices and innovative creative solutions from the design/competitive landscape with a continuous pulse on current trends and noteworthy activities. * Use data driven analysis to measure and improve the effectiveness of all Outpost Games outbound communications.
Ideal Candidate
* Demonstrated success developing creative concepts, and managing other designers, to communicate ideas directly to consumers. * Experience running communication programs across email, social, and other channels in a way that inspires audiences to take action. * Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative tactics to engage users that stand out from the traditional marketing and community models. * Established track-record of translating data into meaningful, business-driving actions. * Critical thinking skills are a must. * Fluency with the tools of the trade, such as Adobe Creative Suite * Self-directed and resourceful with the ability to work independently and be a team player. * Start-up background or experience working in a hyper-growth environment * Passion for Outpost Games, Gaming, and our values to “perform better together”
