Summary
The Coinstar FP&A team is a critical part to all financial planning and analytics for Coinstar and Coinstar Exchange. We have a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial work environment. This position offers the opportunity to work across the Line of Business as well as with Shared Services teams and closely with Accounting. The role will be focused on providing financial analysis of line of business and departmental level initiatives and projects.
Responsibilities
- Support annual budgeting process and monthly forecast updates ? - Participate in enterprise-wide, long-term financial forecasting - Analyze forecasts and results to identify key drivers of business as well as trends, risks and opportunities -Develop financial tools and models to aid in enterprise-level decision making - Enhance current modeling, forecasting, and reporting methods - Partner with Accounting on financial results to support forecasting and analysis of future performance expectations - Perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field required; MBA a plus - Minimum of 5 years finance experience; preferably FP&A and / or corporate environment - Advanced financial modeling, Excel and PowerPoint presentation experience -In-depth corporate finance knowledge and comfort with standard accounting method -High degree of self-motivation and ability to work with limited supervision - Broad business knowledge and an understanding of business profitability drivers - Proven analytic and quantitative decision-making skills, including significant examples of problem-solving, performing detailed analysis, and developing recommendations - Ability to work independently or as a member or leader of small teams both across multiple departments and internal to FP&A, as well as the ability to transfer knowledge to other analysts - Comfort working in an unstructured environment and ability to develop standards and best practices - Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management - Natural intellectual curiosity and willingness to ask questions to creatively solve problems - Adept at learning new software and analysis methods - Knowledge/experience with SAP, EPM add-in, or Tableau a plus - Ability to manage demanding deadlines, changing requirements, and working with limited resources or information
