Junior Graphic Designer

Outbrain is seeking a junior level graphic designer for short term (8-10 week) project on-site. Outbrain provides a casual, fun corporate culture. Candidates should be energetic self-starters who are committed to thinking strategically as well as getting very involved in the details. You will work closely with the NYC-based Design and Marketing team to bring to life and refresh some of our case studies, using our existing style and brand guidelines.

* Update the design of existing sales collateral (sales deck, product sell sheets, etc) to adhere to revised brand guidelines including standard fonts, brand colors, images, iconography etc. * Create & update data charts, visualizations, and infographics for sales materials and blog content * Update or create marketing materials for events (name badges, agenda, signage, booklets) aligned to our branding look/feel * Develop new banner ads or print ads as needed. * Crop and create images for landing pages, micro-sites, landing pages, case studies

**Experience:** 1-3 years of professional design experience Degree in Graphic or Visual Design or similar **Qualifications:** Must have both print and web design skills Strong typographic and layout skills Must be extremely proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator Presentation software skills, specifically in PowerPoint Experience in layout using Microsoft Word Attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines are of utmost importance Excellent time management skills Ability to take direction, remain organized, communicate effectively and work autonomously **Bonus Points:** Proficiency in Sketch Illustration skills
