Credit Risk Analyst

Outbrain is looking for a meticulous Credit Risk Analyst who will thrive in all finance related processes for the company’s credit card business. Data driven and having a knack for problem solving, this risk analyst will analyze performance data, track trends, implement risk mitigation solutions, and build controls and processes.

* Responsible for all financial aspects of credit card portfolio * Monitor card portfolio on daily basis, track and analyze trends, and provide analysis to * senior management * Determine ways to mitigate losses and drive/coordinate efforts with appropriate groups * Research and implement industry best practices * Build policy and procedures around all card portfolio finance related processes * Own chargeback process – track, dispute, and understand reasons for chargebacks * Coordinate efforts with collection agency for unresponsive accounts * Facilitate credit process for migration of accounts paying via credit card to payment * terms * Finance liaison between Shared Services, Product, and Security teams * Manage relationships with card processors * Various reporting and administrative functions related to card portfolio as requested

* Bachelor’s degree * 3+ years of related work experience * Analytical skills * Ability to perform independent research * Experience with fraud risk discipline in credit cards * Developed problem solving and conflict resolution * Self-motivated with ability to lead and implement ideas effectively in a collaboratively * and cross-functional working environment
