Staff Scientist

OSRAM of Munich, Germany is one of the two leading light manufacturers in the world.

Passionate about power electronics design, controls and automation § Demonstrated expertise in design of power electronics and electronics architecture for solid state lighting. § Strong microcontroller level programming experience.

Experience with RF design and wireless interface technology (MCU + WiFi, Zigbee, Bluetooth) § Experience in architecting power and control circuitry for multi-channel drivers. § Experience with modeling, analysis and debugging of electronic circuity in solid state lighting systems. § Experience in defining, designing, documenting, testing and implementing embedded firmware for 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers with RISC/ARM architecture § Strong mathematical and computational skills. Ability to read, interpret and review analog and digital circuit schematics § Ability to provide engineering support to a cross-functional team of research scientists § Ability to lead group projects in cross-functional team of research scientists.
