Summary

OSI Electronics, has a diverse client base who is seeking an Receiving Inspector.

Responsibilities

To ensure that materials and products meet or exceed the established quality requirements as contracted by the customer
Interface with supporting departments as necessary to clarify any vague or ambiguous instructions
Verify all documentation revision and configuration levels of product being inspected
Document inspection and audit activities at appropriate location on the production router and any applicable logs (paper and/or electronic)
Includes data entry into computerized quality system. Process product at a rate appropriate to meet production requirements

Ideal Candidate

* The ability to decipher assembly drawings, part lists, manufacturing instructions, and workmanship standards
* Able to use a computer to enter quality data
* Knowledge of color coding, and usage of calibrated tools would be required.
* Experience in Inspection of electrical and non-electrical components, including mechanical and printed circuit board inspection.
* Experience using measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers, microscopes, and digital multi meters
* Must have knowledge of IPC-A-610, and of component identification and values
* Must have knowledge of J-Standard, and of component identification and values
* Must be able to effectively communicate (verbally and written) in English
* Must have HS Diploma or equivalent
* Must be a Permanent Resident of US Citizen based on ITAR requirements
* Knowledge of IPC-A-620 a plus
* AOI experience a plus.
* Non telecommuting position; must have a physical presence in the production area on a daily and ongoing basis.
* Must be able to read, write, and verbally effectively communicate in the business language (English).
* Must be US Persons based on ITAR definition (US Citizen or Permanent Resident).
