Summary

OSI Electronics, has a diverse client base who is seeking an Assembler II.

Responsibilities

Must hand solder using microscope (fine pitch soldering)
Performs various, repetitive tasks associated with the manufacturing of electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies
Follow instructions listed on production routings and assembly documentation
Must be mechanically inclined
Uses special or standard hand tools
Must pay attention to detail
Operator will perform but is not limited to the following duties: apply labels, attach components, apply adhesives, use adjustable torque screw drivers, understand torques required for determined screw nut sizes

Ideal Candidate

Must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience
Mechanically inclined
Must have High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to grip small objects
Must be able to see small objects
Must be able to distinguish colors
Must be able to perform repetitive hand motions for a full scheduled work day
Must be US Persons (based on ITAR/Military criteria)
Must have problem solving abilities
Certificate from a two year college or technical training school desired
Ability to read, speak, write and understand English preferred
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions
Must have working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-Standard
Non telecommuting position; must have a physical presence in the production area on a daily and ongoing basis
Must be able to read, write, and verbally effectively communicate in the business language (English)
