OSI Electronics, has a diverse client base who is seeking an Assembler II.

* Must hand solder using microscope (fine pitch soldering) * Performs various, repetitive tasks associated with the manufacturing of electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies * Follow instructions listed on production routings and assembly documentation * Must be mechanically inclined * Uses special or standard hand tools * Must pay attention to detail * Operator will perform but is not limited to the following duties: apply labels, attach components, apply adhesives, use adjustable torque screw drivers, understand torques required for determined screw nut sizes * Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork * Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct * - See more at: http://jobs.osielectronics.com/jobsearch/job-details/assembler-ii/9471/#sthash.GHiJYS7G.dpuf

* Must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience * Mechanically inclined * Must have High school diploma or equivalent * Must be able to grip small objects * Must be able to see small objects * Must be able to distinguish colors * Must be able to perform repetitive hand motions for a full scheduled work day * Must be US Persons (based on ITAR/Military criteria) * Must have problem solving abilities * Certificate from a two year college or technical training school desired * Ability to read, speak, write and understand English preferred * Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers * Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions * Must have working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-Standard * Non telecommuting position; must have a physical presence in the production area on a daily and ongoing basis * Must be able to read, write, and verbally effectively communicate in the business language (English)
