Summary
The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for merchandising and optimizing product and promotional content across our flagship ecommerce site BLINQ.com and other marketplaces to drive sales, maximize revenue, increase customer retention and improve visitor satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Support marketing programs through the creation and management of appropriate on-site experiences, using tools such as SLI and Monetate, as well as in-house tools * Implement content improvements to product listings and search & browse pages to present the most compelling product details and attributes to users; work closely with data team to identify opportunities for larger scale product content improvements * Project manage improvements to the site experience based on business needs, inventory, user experience considerations and expected ROI, and work closely with other teams to launch improvements on time and under budget; manage third-party site search vendor relationship * Manage product rating and reviews experience and vendor relationship * Assist in gathering and analyzing web traffic data to identify trends and opportunities * Pitch new feature ideas and work with team members of functional areas such as marketing, design and tech to test these ideas * Develop and share best practices, industry trends and competitive analysis for merchandising * Other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
* A Bachelor’s degree (Business or Retail Merchandising preferred) or 1-2 years equivalent working experience * Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a role that involves digital content * Naturally entrepreneurial and inquisitive, solution-oriented with ability to present content in consumer oriented fashion * Flexible and adaptable to a demanding and fast-paced work environment and manage multiple priorities * An ability to work well independently, as part of a team, and across corporate divisions * Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Apps * Experience in retail or ecommerce a plus * Knowledge of Optiturn a plus
