Field Medic

The Field Medic is a full-time position based out of our remote course area in Southwestern Colorado and Southeastern Utah. The schedule is a one-week on, one-week off rotation.

Responsibilities include: providing primary and emergency care to program participants in the field; collaborating with clinical and field teams to coordinate appropriate care; field guide medical training; communication with parents; reviewing applications for new students regarding medical issues; developing and reviewing in-field medical protocols; and supporting field and operations teams with logistical needs.

Minimum Qualifications: W-EMT; current CPR certification; two years of medical experience, preferably with phlebotomy and IV certification. Experience with adolescent and young adult care as well as emergency response and wilderness medicine preferred.
