About Open Road Media

Open Road Distribution offers agented authors and independent publishers full-service digitization and global-distribution services.

Responsibilities
  • Primary responsibilities include managing these ORIM products and services to resonate with, and engage current and potential customers.

  • The Brand Manager will be required to conceptualize and execute custom marketing programs that drive and maintain site traffic, promote social engagement, and increase email acquisitions for newsletter programs.

  • Additional responsibilities include prospecting partnerships with 3rd party companies to syndicate content, and monetize traffic via custom sponsorship packages.

Further responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with the Editorial teams to help build, establish, and communicate both B2C and B2B branding for a specific ORIM property
  • Develop custom content to support marketing efforts
  • Create P&Ls for individual marketing programs
  • Help strategize KPIs and meet these goals (IE traffic, ad revenue, product sales)
  • Work closely with the Analytics team to both plan marketing campaigns and analyze resulting metrics
  • Lead primary research initiatives including custom audience surveys
Ideal Candidate
  • 4-6 years experience at a consumer facing property in a brand management/consumer marketing role
  • The ability to think creatively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • A strong understanding of all major social media platforms and how to leverage them to achieve goals
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in UX design, and desktop and mobile production.
