Manufacturing Yield Technician

ON Semiconductor (Nasdaq: ON) is driving energy efficient innovations, empowering customers to reduce global energy use.

• Daily production monitoring (yield and quality)
• To review daily production data and provide disposition for material on hold due to low yield or poor quality.
• To be able to perform data analysis on low yielding material and address to the responsible area (both internal and external).
• To manage the RMA process (internal and external)
• To provide summaries (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
• To implement, maintain and deploying procedures on how to handle non-conforming material (having corporate procedures as guidelines)

Education: Associates/Technical Degree

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor industry
• CMOS process fabrication basics
• CMOS imaging process is a plus
• Proficient with data analysis
• JMP or data power are a plus
• Microsoft office and Microsoft sharepoint
• Strong communication skills; Focus on customer needs
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Sound decision quality; Makes decisions through data metrics and processes
