EDA Tool Engineer

* Responsible for the integration of design tools used in the design of mixed signal and digital products in a project driven organization. * Contribute to the creation of a high quality design system, integrating the libraries, commercial design software and the technology data. * Use scripting languages to automate common tasks. * Provide support to the design teams on the design system and software tools spread around the world. * Investigate on commercial solutions applicable to the design flow and are in direct contact with the EDA vendors. * Position can be located anywhere that ON Semiconductor has an office.

* MS Computer Science or Electronics, preferred. BS in Engineering or Computer Science, required. * Experience with CAD tools: Cadence, Synopsys and Mentor Graphics. * Masters Engineering degree ir Graphics are an asset. * Skilled in one of following programming languages : C, C++, Perl, TCL, SKILL * Operating systems : linux * 5-8 years of experience in EDA engineering, required.
