EDA Tool Engineer

ON Semiconductor (Nasdaq: ON) is driving energy efficient innovations, empowering customers to reduce global energy use.

• Responsible for the integration of design tools used in the design of mixed signal and digital products in a project driven organization.
• Contribute to the creation of a high quality design system, integrating the libraries, commercial design software and the technology data.
• Use scripting languages to automate common tasks.
• Provide support to the design teams on the design system and software tools spread around the world.
• Investigate on commercial solutions applicable to the design flow and are in direct contact with the EDA vendors.
• Position can be located anywhere that ON Semiconductor has an office.

• MS Computer Science or Electronics, preferred. BS in Engineering or Computer Science, required.
• Experience with CAD tools: Cadence, Synopsys and Mentor Graphics.
• Masters Engineering degree ir Graphics are an asset.
• Skilled in one of following programming languages : C, C++, Perl, TCL, SKILL
• Operating systems : linux
• 5-8 years of experience in EDA engineering, required.
