Summary
OmniUpdate is seeking an experienced, strategic-thinking Human Resources Manager with a minimum of four years of experience in a similar organization of at least 60 staff members. The ideal candidate must exhibit professionalism and excellent judgement. They will be comfortable and effective working with other members of the executive team and the Board of Directors. The candidate must also be able to effectively and respectfully communicate with employees at all levels. He or she must be able to evolve and maintain Human Resources policies and programs such as corporate culture initiatives, staffing/recruiting, wage/salary administration, employee relations, benefits and office administration. Candidate must be able to multi-task and work in a quickly changing environment.
Responsibilities
* Champion all OmniUpdate Human Resources strategic initiatives and support other senior executives in their efforts to do the same * Provide executive level leadership to all employees in the areas of corporate culture, legal compliance and people management * Maintain personnel, payroll and compliance records ensuring that they meet all state and federal regulations * Serve as the point of contact for the administration of the company benefit programs including Health, 401k, FSA, stock option program, etc. * Manage and improve on all aspects of the Company’s recruiting and retention programs including career path development * Manage and improve upon all performance evaluations and employee discipline as needed * Efficiently execute employee on-boarding and termination processing * Effectively manage Human Resources staff the areas of Facilities Coordination and Human Resources/Staff support * Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Business Management or a complimentary field * Minimum 8 years of Human Resources Management experience * Proven experience initiating and driving Human Resources strategy and cultural projects to completion * In-depth knowledge of applicable California and Federal labor laws and related regulations * Demonstrated knowledge of Human Resources best practices and procedures * Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, work under pressure and handle changing priorities. * Ability to communicate complex analysis in an understandable way * Strong work ethic and highly dependable * Extremely detail oriented and organized * Quick learner that enjoys constant growth and professional learning * Strong working knowledge of computer software including the MS Suite and multiple HRIS/ATS platforms
