We were the city’s first bank, even before Evansville was officially a city. A “community bank” from the beginning, we played a critical role in providing financial services the new community needed to grow and thrive.
We have an opening in our collection department for a Collector. The Collector is responsible for collection of past due consumer loans and overdrafts. The Collector will work with the customer to budget past due payments to ensure repayment to the bank.
- 1 year of collection experience is preferred.
- 1 year of banking experience is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills are required.
- Must be persistent.
- Experience with skip tracing tools for collection is a plus.
- Ability to multi task
- Good with follow up.
- Ability to comprehend the bank’s products offered to customers to assist with collection of loans and overdrafts.
- Old National/Ivy Tech certificate or post-secondary business courses are valued
Working Conditions
Hours: 4 days/week: 8:30 to 5:00 1 evening/week: 10:30 to 7:00 1 Saturday/month: 8:00 to 12:00
