CT Technologist

• Under the general supervision of the Radiology Manager, the CAT Scan Technologist is responsible for the provision of radiological services to patients according to physician's orders.
• Provides for patient safety and high quality testing.

Minimum Education:

• Graduate of an accredited or registered school of Radiologic Technology.

Minimum Work Experience:

• Must have previous CT experience

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of procedures, patient safety, radiation safety and quality patient care.
• Ability to generate quality images in a timely manner.
• Successful completion of the hospital or department specific training course.

Required/Preferred Licenses/Certifications:

• Registered ARRT; CT Registered/Registry eligible preferred.
• Certified by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT).
• BLS required.
