Summary
Oak Grove Technologies, LLC a fast growing federal contractor, is seeking a Visual Information Specialist to develop design and provide creative input for all graphic art projects. The Visual Information Specialist will work out of the Alexandria, Virginia office location. Oak Grove Technologies offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
Responsibilities
* Produce original, still artwork or 2D animation for incorporation into web-based products * Work effectively with instructional designers and programmers to develop designs that convey the right information and can be implemented within the technical constraints of the development platform * Provide information and direction on the use of visual materials, computer graphics, advanced visual communication techniques, reproduction and printing processes, cost of media production, and other matters related to design and the development of the visual components of projects * Provide oversight and coordination of project needs and assuring deadlines are met
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications:** * A degree in Graphic Design or a similar degree is preferred, but not required * No more than 5 years of experience * Familiarity with 508 compliance * Experience with Desktop Publishing * Familiar with all procedures for importing graphics into web environments including file size compression Alpha Channels (Transparent Backgrounds) and image manipulation * Knowledge of and experience using PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe AfterEffects, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe Illustrator **Preferred:** * Familiarity with SCORM * In-depth knowledge of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) learning model
