A group company within NTT DATA currently seeks a SQL Server DBA to join our team in Melville, NY.

Responsibilities

Execute deployment scripts
Monitor DBs
Perform capacity management planning
Review logs for compliance issues with people attempting to access the DB
DB errors, thresholds, indexing, performance monitoring and management
Review and apply monthly application releases
Release management
Testing in Dev / QA staging environments

Ideal Candidate

Requirements:

7+ years experience in SQL Database Administration

Miniumum experience:

7 years of SQL Server DBA experience
5 years of Performance tuning and optimization experience
5 years of backup and restore and recovery experience
5 years of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) experience
5 years of implementing operational automation scripts
5 years of index management experience
3 years of Windows Server experience with Active Directory and disk configurations
