A group company within NTT DATA currently seeks a SQL Server DBA to join our team in Melville, NY.

Responsibilities
* Execute deployment scripts
* Monitor DBs
* Perform capacity management planning
* Review logs for compliance issues with people attempting to access the DB
* DB errors, thresholds, indexing, performance monitoring and management
* Review and apply monthly application releases
* Release management
* Testing in Dev / QA staging environments
Ideal Candidate
Requirements:
* 7+ years experience in SQL Database Administration
Miniumum experience:
* 7 years of SQL Server DBA experience
* 5 years of Performance tuning and optimization experience
* 5 years of backup and restore and recovery experience
* 5 years of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) experience
* 5 years of implementing operational automation scripts
* 5 years of index management experience
* 3 years of Windows Server experience with Active Directory and disk configurations
