Underwriter - Miscellaneous Property

NSM Insurance Group has been developing, implementing, marketing and underwriting industry-specific insurance programs for niche markets for 25 years.

NSM Insurance Group is looking to hire an HO-6 & Miscellaneous Property Underwriter for our Coastal Condominium Property Program. This position is based out of our Conshohocken, PA office and will report directly to the Program Director.

• Manage the development and growth of the HO-6 program.
• Establish internal systems to assure efficient processes.
• Develop reporting processes with Carrier.
• Extend the current program from the (4) agents to additional agents in NJ and MD and work with CHAMP Program Director to enter new states.
• Research rates and forms in Southern States.
• Develop a sales strategy to effectively solicit books of business and market appropriately through phone, email and personal visitations.
• Manage the day-to-day inquiries from agents and the daily process of binding and billing accounts.

• Bachelor Degree required with a business-related focus; minimum of 3-years of experience.
• A “go-getter mentality.
• Strong analytical skills; the ability to help set up and monitor process.
• Excellent sales skills; ability to prospect and drive new business.
