Summary
The Operations Director will be dedicated to a single High-Tech managed services account and provide senior level interface and, thought leadership. The position is designed to interact, on a regular basis, with the operations leaders within and outside of the site. Leading and driving operational initiatives. This is a highly interactive role which will require a comprehensive understanding of products and solutions, technology, and the ability to successfully interact with key site resources and the company’s organization.
Responsibilities
* The core focus of this role is to drive operational initiatives, execute program enhancements, and projects aligned with the client’s brand and the vision of the Real Estate, Facilities and Employee Services business group with an emphasis on mail services (including digital), logistics (shipping, receiving, freight logistics, PC recycle), intelligent lockers, reception and lobby services, and technology solutions that enhance these services. * Takes a leadership role and coordinates activities across the matrix operations functions to drive initiatives * Analysis of project resources, develops and presents business cases if additional project resources are needed to support initiatives * Drives best in class operations * Development and delivery of articulate, effective, and meaningful presentations * Capture, measure and report on customer engagement satisfaction, SLA, process workflows and operational trends

Other aspects of your background will include: * Vertical industry knowledge in: Technology * Preferred: Preexisting relationships with key C-suite leaders at Microsoft and in the technology industry vertical **Background:** * Thorough understanding of Microsoft technologies and technology solutions and applications across: logistics (shipping, receiving, freight logistics, PC recycle); reception and lobby services * BA/BS required and MBA preferred * Exposure to product and services solutions in the Mail/DPS, CCM & Print, Reception and Lobby Experience markets * Contract management experience **Required Competencies:** * A strong technical background with 5+ year’s industry experience building and deploying solutions within large, Fortune 500 accounts is required * Strong communication skills and be the ability able to articulate the business value of the Microsoft platform and position Microsoft products and solutions in competitive scenarios * Business and market expertise within a sector - can anticipate future trends and possibilities to create best in class operation * Influencing - able to articulate sound business reasons for win-win client/and company outcomes * Business & Financial acumen: Ability to develop short and long-term financial perspectives that support Microsoft business initiatives * Application of technology solutions to solve business problems * Competitive insight- knowledge of how various competitors’ products and services meet industry vertical needs * Communication- strong interpersonal communication skill and ability to read people well
