Summary
Provide counsel to all Novartis divisions and support development of social media channel strategy to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
* Lead the development of a strategy for selecting, implementing and maintaining the right social media platforms based on business objectives and content working across divisions, units and countries. * Drive guidelines and standards for the identification, implementation and evaluation of social media platforms * Stay ahead and on top of trends in social media platforms and innovations and educate key stakeholders across Novartis divisions * Lead strategy development for placing content on the optimal social media platforms and channels * • Drive content to the optimal Novartis Corporate Social media platforms
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s or equivalent 4-Year university degree required * > 5 Years experience in communications and/or social media, ideally in agency, consulting, or multinational corporate environment * Extensive experience in Digital & Social Media channel management * Fluent English, Bilingual Spanish a plus * Demonstrated track record of successful channel strategy development, implementation, evaluation and feedback loop to customers * Deep knowledge of Social Media trends including expertise in current and emerging platforms to be able to develop the appropriate strategy * Excellent writing and editing skills * Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills - Ability to adapt style to communicate at all levels of the organization. * Ability to manage stakeholders and influence across a cross-functional matrix organization * Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously * Proactive, entrepreneurial approach to recognizing needs and anticipating issues and solving problems * Strong project management skills * Adaptability and flexibility – willingness to take on new assignments outside of responsibilities
