Summary
As Facilities Services IS Senior Analyst IS you will support and enhance systems for Facilities' processes and systems operations, plan, design and implement FSIS systems and ensures systems meet established availability and security levels in support of department's operational objectives. You will also collaborate with Facilities management and vendors to ensure systems are properly supported, provide support to ensure all systems are functioning optimally, data integrity is intact and Facilities reports are produced timely and accurately, act as a resource to DFS management and staff regarding training on Skire Unifier Project Scheduling, Dashboard and Cash Flow functionality and lead and guide lower level Analysts, as needed
Responsibilities
* Supports and enhances the Skire system in support of Facilities' processes and systems operations. * Analyzes and troubleshoots production problems; escalates issues and executes solutions. * Plans, designs and implements the development of new business processes within Skire Unifier, following the software development lifecycle and standard project management methods. * Designs and develops crystal reports and provides management with data, cost analysis and cash flow modeling. * Ensures adherence to Skire Unifier System Security policies and assignments. * Interacts with end users to assist in collecting, documenting and analyzing business requirements. Communicates clearly and timely with customers and end users. * Creates clear, technical designs and specifications, develops solutions and communicates requirements to external developers. Creates test plans for upgrades and enhancements, as necessary. * Trains end users and documents processes on Skire Unifier Construction Cost Analysis, Project scheduling, Dashboard and Cash Flow functions. * Identifies and documents project related risks and issues; documents and communicates project statuses timely and accurately. * Recommends and implements improvements to current Facilities or end user processes as they relate to Skire or other Facilities systems. * Collaborates with software vendors to approve project deliverables. Reviews vendor contract proposals and invoices for management approval.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field, required. * Minimum of five (5) years Construction industry Information system experience or related tools, required. Functional experience with Skire Unifier, highly preferred. * Thorough knowledge of construction workflow design and implementation, construction cash flow and project scheduling, required. * Strong problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills, required.
