Summary
Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a Selenium Automation Tester to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Baltimore, MD. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health Solutions portfolio. The successful candidate will be able to work in a dynamic, energetic environment. Multi-tasking, time-management, and customer relationship skills will be keys for success.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute automated tests using Selenium to validate functionality in all phases of testing, including functional, performance and regression ensuring developed software meets defined specifications * Document all test anomalies and actively support the investigation and resolution of all anomalies * Participate in daily stand-up meetings with a collaborative team as part of an Agile process * Develop and maintain performance metrics and report daily status to management * Develop and track plans for issue closure and risk mitigation * Participate in continuous process improvement efforts in test coverage and test effectiveness * Respond with creative and flexible solutions in a rapidly-changing work environment while adhering to best testing practices * Develop/Maintain testing documentation
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications:** * Experience conducting automated tests utilizing Selenium * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 9 years of overall experience and 5 years direct experience in Quality Assurance, System or Software Testing, or equivalent, particularly outlining test plans, defining necessary regression testing, and test case and procedure development and execution; 4 years of additional related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. * Knowledge of automated software testing methodologies and processes * Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience creating test cases from requirements specifications * Must have over 2 years of experience with Agile Methodology * Must have over 4 years of demonstrated experience with Test Automation * Must be able to independently develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts * Must be able to train team members in Test Automation * Must be able to exercise application software and architecture sufficient to prove or disprove the tests success. * Must be able to convey the results of the test both verbally and written to the development and management staff. * Must have over 2 years’ experience with developing Test Automation Frameworks * Must have over 2 years demonstrated experience with a scripting language * Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust designation. You must be a US Citizen or legal Permanent Resident **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in healthcare industry * Experience with LoadRunnner for Performance Testing * Demonstrated ability to meet very short deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced (agile) work environment. * Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
