Cyber Software Engineer 1

The Software Engineer 1 will support senior Engineers through development, coding, testing and tracking. The work spans the lifecycle, which includes requirements, development, test, system integration, maintenance, and production. Solve complex technical issues with limited supervision. Develop complex programs that utilize a variety of languages and platforms. Will develop software on diverse platforms including Mobile, Linux and Windows based operating systems. Leverage configuration management tools, database applications and related software development tools.

* Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and no more than 1 year of relevant work experience from the time the degree was received. * Demonstrated knowledge of Java and/or C++ software application development. * Demonstrated understanding of software design and engineering principles with relevant coursework (e.g. software design patterns). * Must have experience with coding in at least two of the following (C, C++, Java, Microsoft.NET/C#, Perl, Ruby, Python and/or Shell) * Must have experience on at least one of the following platforms (Windows, UNIX, LINUX) * The ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience on Unix and/or Linux platforms * Experience with Mobile Device/Embedded Development (i.e. iPhone, Android, etc). * Active Clearance is highly preferred (Secret, TS, and/or TS/SCI with Poly) * 7 GPA or higher and demonstrated technical writing skills * Candidates with previous cutting edge experience in a software development environment
