The Communication, Navigation, and Identification (CNI) Engineer is responsible for design, development, integration, and test of aviation related communications systems for a developmental program. The successful individual is expected to be a highly-motivated, self-starter who is willing to work at a fast pace in a team setting.
- Support communication system analysis, design, engineering capture, build, and integration
- Perform review and analysis of supplier design data, definition of functional test requirements including acceptance, qualification, system integration, and support test execution
- Perform liaison duties to disseminate information to suppliers, responsible engineers (REs), leadership, and other Integrated Product Teams and external customers
- Ability to clearly communicate technical information through reports and presentations
Basic Qualifications:
- Candidates must be a new or recent graduate within one year of completing a Master’s degree in Engineering (Computer, Software, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace) or related technical discipline (Physics, Mathematics)
- Candidates must have the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance within 6 months; U.S. citizenship is a requirement
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the integration and test of aviation related communications systems or component sub-systems
- Working knowledge of communication engineering theory is desired
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Working Conditions
Travel: 10 % of the Time and Relocation assistance may be available.
