Responsibilities
The Lead QA Analyst will work closely with the NorthPage R&D team to learn and understand the architecture, deployment and features of the NorthPage software platform to develop and maintain a comprehensive set of test plans. A critical function of the Lead QA Analyst role will be to establish testing methodologies for software that is delivered in a continuous deployment model. The Lead QA Analyst will be responsible for working with team members to make sure that software defects and issues are tracked accurately and subsequently closed in our issue tracking system.

- You are passionate about software quality and have a strong attention to detail with superior organization skills. - You are a self-learner that can quickly gain knowledge and understanding of new technologies, tools and frameworks through research and hands on work. - You enjoy learning from and sharing your knowledge with the members on your team through mutual mentoring and collaboration. - You are experienced with a variety of different tools and strategies for both automated and manual testing. - Ideally, you have experience in testing commercial software, or consumer facing web applications. - 3+ years of working in a software quality assurance role, preferably for a commercial or consumer facing software organization - A strong understanding of software testing methodologies, practices, automation and test plan development is required - Experience developing, maintaining and executing test plans - Experience with Test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, Watir, Watij, etc. - Experience with issue tracking systems like JIRA, Pivotal Tracker, Trac, etc. - Experience or exposure to QA strategies used for testing software delivered in a continuous deployment model - Experience with programming in languages like Java, JavaScript and Ruby is helpful but not required - Experience working with SQL and RDBMS software like MySQL is helpful but not required - Comfortable working in a Linux/Mac OS X environment
