Senior Web Developer

Nitro is an exciting, high-growth company in the rapidly-evolving digital documents space. We are looking for a Senior Web Developer to join our Marketing team. In this role you will play a lead role for our Web Production team and will be responsible for the front-end development and implementation of all our public facing websites, supporting services, and scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all aspects of web development, testing, and maintenance, with a strong understanding of the latest web tools and technologies. You will bring a deep understanding of best practices in design, optimization, interaction and usability. The Senior Web Developer will be a creative collaborator who will be working closely with project managers and the Marketing team to meet a series of critical deadlines as we continue to grow. What you'll be doing: * Building, managing and ultimately owning the development lifecycle of all outward-facing Nitro online properties- scaling for millions of monthly visitors * Using your development expertise to optimize and increase our family of high volume web properties. (example: pdftoword.com) * Act as a mentor to Jr. Web Developers and support the growth of the overall Marketing team. * Managing a fully Responsive Website (mobile, tablet, desktop) * Execute on Website Optimization (tracking, SEO) plans * Website integrations / services to ensure our web properties communicate properly with our marketing operations systems * Be a technical resource for the marketing team looking to create and extend our online presence * Effective in creating campaign landing pages, emails, and other applicable assets in with the demand gen team * Optimize Nitro’s Web Form implementation/creation, In-App promotions, Localization, * Explore, define, and implement as appropriate a CMS – Content Management Systems for our website * Ensure the Nitro Blog meets industry best practice standards * Working within a highly collaborative and Agile environment focusing on continuous releases, constant iteration, and high velocity.

* 3-5 years’ experience as a lead web developer * Advanced knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTML5, jQuery & Photoshop. * Knowledge of Java, MySQL, AJAX, PHP. * Deep understanding and knowledge in SEO * CMS development skills (Ex: Word Press) * Experience integrating with RESTful web services and APIs * Basic Photoshop skills (Optimizing artwork for web display) * Familiarity with browser testing and debugging. * A portfolio of work that shows a high aesthetic and a diverse range of web design and development. Portfolio of live websites required. * Ability to work in a collaborative environment to quickly and accurately prototype designs and functionality.
