Senior User Experience Designer

The Nitro Product team is looking for a Senior User Experience Designer to own the design of a key product offering. With both analytical and empathetic approaches, you will solve complex problems with simple solutions. You will focus on delighting our users by helping us design stunning and intuitive products that earn outstanding reviews from our peers and our customers.

* As a key member of the Product team, collaborate between the Product, Creative and Engineering teams to solve complex interaction problems, humanize product ideas and develop these ideas into elegant application designs. * Support Nitro’s multi-platform suite of tools across Web, Mobile and Desktop applications. Architect interaction models, wireframes and high fidelity mock ups that promote ease of use and optimize how customers interact with our products. * Understand the Nitro customer and serve as their advocate when making cross platform design decisions. * Present design solutions to stakeholders and company executives, communicate design decisions to the larger team and incorporate feedback into the design cycle. * Drive usability initiatives in an agile environment to improve the overall experience. * Collaborate across teams to gain a deep understanding of the way our customers behave. * Involve our users in everything we do; help conduct various forms of user research to inform your designs, including usability testing, A/B testing, customer interviews, and surveys. * Effectively visualize and communicate numerous ideas in a short amount of time. * Design experiences that are beautiful to look at and beautiful to use.

* Expert knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, and user-centered design. * 5+ years professional experience as a UX designer. * Proven expertise turning complex business problems into simple and engaging products across Web, Mobile and Desktop products. * Proven ability to produce users flows, wireframes, prototypes, annotated mock-ups, storyboards, user personas. * Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment. * BS/MS in interaction design, human factors, a related field, or equivalent experience. * Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. * A strong portfolio that showcases your work, provides detail of your role on projects and shows examples of functional designs that you have developed from requirements through design delivery. * Strong organization and time management in meeting deadlines for smaller and larger scale tasks
