Summary
Responsible for ensuring equipment uptime by quick in-depth trouble shooting and repair of all equipment failures. Working knowledge of facility (Water farm, air compressors, UF, RO, and general maintenance of building). Works directly with machine operators and manufacturing supervisor to resolve mechanical issues that arise during shift.
Responsibilities
* Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/ hydraulic systems using schematics and technical drawings. * Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors and other equipment at facility as required. * Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment. Maintain industrial control system. * Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs timely and safely. * Create and report repairs at end of shift. Complete required paperwork, document parts and material usage. * Understand and follow plant safety rules including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation. Ideal Candidate
**Work Experience/KSA’s** * Required: * 2-4 years – Years of experience in field * 2-4 years – Years of experience in position * Preferred: * 3-5 years – Years of experience in field * 3-5 years – Years of experience in position **Competencies** * Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical experience * Good written and verbal communication skills * Ability to communicate with people at all levels in organization * Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook * Ability to work 12 hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule * Blow molding, injection molding or previous beverage experience * Knowledge of Sidel, Krones and packaging **Education** * Minimum Required: * High School Diploma * Preferred: * Associate's Degree
