Responsibilities
- Develop test cases and deliver high quality product in an agile work environment.
- Collaborate with development engineers and product team for feature requirements and testing.
- Participate in testing regularly scheduled releases.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant technologies and proactively suggest architecture changes and new coding practices.
- Maintain a self-starting, highly motivated, detail-oriented approach to all projects.
- Proactively and effectively communicating issues and barriers regarding the project to Management and Product teams.
- Advocate for best practices, great usability and exceptional quality.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3-5 years of software testing and QA experience
- Experience with black box and white box testing
- Knowledge on testing tools for server APIs
- Automation for server API testing
- Work well within QA teams and external teams
- Exposure to databases such as Postgres and ability to write simple database queries.
- Experience working with bug tracking tools such as Bugzilla, JIRA a plus
- Knowledge on integration testing of the product a plus
- Experience working with parallel teams to understand feature testing and requirements a plus
