Sales Enablement is a cross-functional discipline designed to increase sales results and productivity by providing integrated content, training and coaching services for salespeople and front-line sales managers along the entire customer’s buying journey. As an intern, you’ll work with Newsela’s Sales Enablement and Productivity Manager to handle the day-to-day operations in educating and providing the Sales team with the messaging, product and sales knowledge, and materials needed to improve sales execution and drive new business.
- Support the management of the sales content repository and ensure that all information is easily and readily accessible at point of need.
- Coordinate trainings on messaging, new products, and sales process to ramp up for Back to School 2017
- Support the building of new curriculum to educate new hires on product knowledge, sales process, and skills.
- Work with freelancers and designers to support the production of new customer-facing content, including case studies, decision guides, and more.
- Research and build a competitive analysis portfolio
The Ideal Candidate
- Enrolled as junior or senior in a Bachelor’s program
- Excellent project management skills
- Superior written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Some Plusses
- Experience with graphic design and video editing
- Experience with IMovie, Indesign, Photoshop and PowerPoint
- Interested in building a career in marketing or sales, and has an strong interest in education technology.
- Resourceful, scrappy, willing to roll up your sleeves and help your teammates out in a pinch
