Currently, we seek an experienced Hedge Fund Reporter. Candidates should have a strong understanding of the industry, be thoroughly sourced at the largest hedge funds be able to break news concerning these investors and write features stories about trends in hedge fund land. Position on the business desk of one of the country’s best-read papers is a great platform to be heard and make your mark.

• Pitch and produce original stories with a unique slant, suitable for publication in The Post.
• Turn around fast, clean copy for both web and print.
• Cultivate sources.
• Collaborate with editors and colleagues on in-depth reports.
• Take initiative and help other reporters on stories that dovetail with your beat.

• Excellent writing and reporting skills.
• Minimum of 5 years experience covering hedge fund industry.
• First-rate news judgment.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven newsroom.
• Ability to work some nights and weekends.
