Features Writer

The New York Post was founded in 1801 and publishes the oldest continually published daily newspaper in America.

The New York Post Features department is looking for a health writer — or, just a great writer who’s also interested in health stories!

The ideal candidate is a curious self-starter who can switch easily between print and online, using a clever, quick style. They should be adept at spotting online health & fitness trends from a mile away and generate fresh story ideas and ways to tell them (i.e. thinking outside the standard health story). Social media savvy also a must.

This writer will also be expected to write about general topics, too, so we’re looking for someone who can do it all. Three years writing at a website, newspaper or magazine required; BA required.
