Summary
We help people build better software! The .NET Agent Team enables developers, DevOps, and stakeholders to learn how their apps are really performing in the real world for real customers. We do this by diving deep into the .NET framework to find out how the application is used and where it helps or frustrates its users.
Responsibilities
**Everyday you will:** * Deepen your understanding of the .NET Framework, Azure, IIS, MVC, Entity Framework, MSMQ, WCF and async. * Work directly with customers and partners to understand how to help them improve their applications. * Collaborate with other teams in delivering the most amazing software of your career.
Ideal Candidate
**For this job, you’ll need:** * Basic web development experience. You know what matters to people building web apps. * Curiosity! You seek beyond the surface of the technologies you use and like to understand the internals. * Commitment to delivering value, always. You get satisfaction building tools that help developers get stuff done. * Excellent communication skills. You love to talk about what you’re doing and learn from other engineers. * Quality-kung-fu. You make your software as reliable and scalable as possible. **It would be great if you also have (desirable but not required):** * Fundamental knowledge of C#, Java, C or C++ * 1-2 years experience building and deploying web applications on Windows/Azure, Linux, or Amazon AWS (internship experience is just fine) * BS Computer Science/ Software Engineering/ IT * Continuous integration (even better, continuous deployment) experience * Experience working with customers
