Production Paralegal, Original Series

Netflix seeks an experienced paralegal for a role with responsibility for a wide array of matters related to Netflix's original content initiative. The successful candidate will work with the company's Originals team to coordinate, draft and review agreements necessary to develop and produce the company's slate of high-profile television shows. The legal team at Netflix is small and focused on collaborating with its business partners to help foster innovation.

* Drafting and reviewing production and 3rd party agreements (e.g., department head agreements, episodic directors agreements, vendor/rental agreements, equipment and prop house agreements, aviation agreements, location agreements, stage/facilities leases, lab agreements, VFX agreements, animation and graphics agreements) * Working with business and legal teams, line producers and production personnel regarding day-to-day legal issues during prep, principal and post-production * Assisting in preparation of summaries of restrictions/approval issues for rights-in & out (credits, marketing, PR, etc.) * Working with rights management team (answering questions, reviewing documentation) * Working with other members of legal team to help manage deliverables for legal delivery (e.g., DGA deal memos, SAG deals memos)

* The successful candidate will have at least 5+ years of paralegal experience in television or film. * Experience with production agreements is required.
