**Requirements:**
- Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are required.
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL, etc.), and programming (XML, ETL frameworks).
- Experience with AWS Redshift, DynamoDB, Hive, Cassandra, Bigtable, or other big data stores.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages,tools and/or languages for analyzing datasets (Python, Matlab, R, Scala, Weka, e.t.c.)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
- BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics
- Creative approach to problem solving.
**Responsibility:**
- The tasks this individual is responsible for are often non-routine and unstructured, requiring creative solutions.
- This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving routine to moderately complex problems.
**Interaction:**
- This individual must work effectively in a team with all level of employees within ProdOps. There will be communication with employees in other functions as required.
- Limited management direction is provided to employee on new projects or assignments as well as review of activities and priorities.
- To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favorable results through technical competence and persistence.
**Education & Experience:**
- A minimum of 8 years of proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.
- BS in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics
is required.
- Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, moderately complex projects.
