Head Coach

We dedicate ourselves to cultivating academic excellence, civic responsibility and the personal growth of each member of our community.

The Needham School Committee is comprised of seven elected members serving three-year terms. The Committee acts as the policy-making body of the Needham Public Schools. The Committee generally meets the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 7 pm in the Broadmeadow Performance Center. Meetings are also broadcast by Needham Cable Television.

Needham High School is accepting applications for the position of Varsity Boys Ice Hockey Head Coach for the 2015-16 winter season. NHS is a member of the highly competitive Bay State Conference and competes in the league's Carey Division.

The Head Coach will have the responsibility of:

• overseeing the entire boys ice hockey program (grades 9-12),
• working with the JV team to establish consistent philosophies and teaching methods,
• will be expected to assist fellow coaches with coaching development.

• NHS is looking for a skilled leader, mentor and communicator, with proven coaching experience, to help continue to build strong Division I program.

• Playing experience is preferred

• Candidate must demonstrate the ability to maintain a competitive team, and overall program, while adhering to the values of NHS and the rules and regulations of the BSC and the MIAA.
