Summary
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the VP, Scripted Content in the NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment portfolio and serve as office liaison communicating with internal NBCUniversal divisions as well as the external business and creative community. This assistant may support an additional executive in the future.
Responsibilities
* General administrative duties including: rolling calls, maintaining phone sheet, scheduling and coordinating meetings, copying, filing, expense reporting and planning travel arrangements for executives * Distribute rough cuts, script revisions, etc. * Maintain submission log and return materials where appropriate * Maintain files and status reports for all aspects of production * Cover for other assistants as needed * Perform other related duties as required by management
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of industry experience * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook **Eligibility Requirements** * Interested candidates must submit a resume through www.nbcunicareers.com to be considered * Willingness to work in Universal City, CA * Must be willing to work overtime * Must be willing to submit to a background investigation * Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States * Must be 18 years or older * Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program **Desired Characteristics** * Agency experience preferred * Experience working in a fast-paced environment * Detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills * Flexible, personable, self-starter with the ability to interface with the creative community as well as all levels of NBCU staff * Ability to work well with others and collaborate across the organization to achieve goals
