Summary

NAVEOS®, is a rapidly growing, national supplier of healthcare revenue enhancement services headquartered in Sterling, Virginia. We are looking for a Healthcare Data Analyst to assist us with extracting healthcare eligibility and cost data, designing predictive models, and analyzing trends to determine viability of new products

Responsibilities
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to proactively identify opportunities to leverage data and information to introduce and deliver new products to clients.
  • Analyze healthcare data from various internal and external sources, such as claims and eligibility.
  • Use data analysis skills to design new reports and identify data opportunities.
  • Assist in the creation of client presentations.
  • Compile large amounts of data into innovative analyses and presentations.
  • Produce high quality deliverables that are properly designed, implemented and tested.
  • Collaborate with operations, IT development and data warehouse teams to inform and validate reporting requirements.
Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree with a quantitative major (e.g. actuarial, statistics, economics, engineering, computer science, operations research, applied math.
  • At least one year of experience using SAS or SQL to perform data analysis.
  • 2-5 years related analysis experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Technical proficiency with data manipulation and analysis in Excel and Access.
  • Experience analyzing healthcare claims data and care management data.
  • Experience working with and developing reporting requirement for output from Tableau or similar business intelligence systems.
  • Strong aptitude for analytical thinking and demonstrated data skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities.
  • Detail oriented; able to work independently and set priorities.
  • Master’s degree desirable
