Summary
As a level I Software Development Analyst, you will be responsible for defining, developing, testing, analyzing and maintaining new software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements. This will include writing and coding software programs and applications as well. You will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle.
Responsibilities
Desirable candidates will be able to effectively: * Create and execute unit test plans and appropriate walk-throughs * Build or maintain interfaces to third party components or other computer systems * Contribute to the development of programming standards and research technical standards * Solve and implement the resolution to less structured technical problems with the potential for greater system impact * Participate on team projects or work independently to accomplish designated tasks * Function as a technical lead for small projects where appropriate and regularly suggest options for technical solutions to business needs * Manage small projects by documenting scope and requirements * Provide technical training on primary systems to programming teams and customers * Obtain and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the subsystem(s) and an understanding of all subsystems within the system * Perform other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
* A college degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or any combination of experience and education that provides the skills and abilities necessary to perform in this role is preferred * Solid ability to read, analyze and interpret general business and technical information * Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication talent * Proficiency in coding at least 3 of the following: DAP, ALR, VB, ASP, SQL, HTML, Javascript, XML, and C# * Demonstration of an in-depth understanding of at least one file structure and database.
